OUR STORY
a decade of friendship
Founded in Vienna in 2011, Five Sax has quickly become one of the leading ensembles in their field. They have appeared on many of the world’s most prestigious stages, including the Vienna Konzerthaus, Munich’s Gasteig, Amsterdam’s Concertgebouw, and the National Concert Hall in Taipei. The group has also been featured at renowned festivals such as the Ludwigsburg Festival, Summerwinds Münsterland, and the Allegro Vivo Chamber Music Festival.
The ensemble’s debut stage production, Sax Voyage, reflects the international character of the group and has taken them to concert halls in 20 countries across Europe, the Americas, and Asia. Since its 2013 premiere in Poland, more than 200 audiences have experienced the show’s musical journey around the world.
Building on the success of Sax Voyage, Five Sax introduced a new program titled In Time, which explores the role that rhythm and groove have played in music throughout history. The show premiered to a sold-out audience at the Musikverein in Vienna and has since been presented on stages around the world. Most recently, In Time was featured in a 15-concert tour across China, Macao, and Hong Kong.
In addition to their live performances, Five Sax has released two recordings. Their debut album, Five Sax at the Movies (2015), was praised for its innovative arrangements of iconic film music and later inspired a concert program of the same name. Their second album, In Time, was released in 2024 and expands on the musical themes introduced in the stage show.
Each member of Five Sax is an established international artist, originally from Poland, Italy, the United States, Chile, and Hong Kong.

Five Sax wurde 2011 in Wien gegründet und hat sich seither zu einem der führenden Ensembles seines Fachs entwickelt. Sie sind auf vielen der weltweit renommiertesten Bühnen aufgetreten, darunter im Wiener Konzerthaus, im Münchner Gasteig, im Concertgebouw Amsterdam und in der National Concert Hall in Taipeh. Außerdem waren sie bei bedeutenden Festivals wie den Ludwigsburger Schlossfestspielen, dem Festival Summerwinds Münsterland und dem Allegro Vivo Kammermusikfestival zu hören.
